Biography

Eric J. Fields is a seasoned Of Counsel in WSHB's New York City office. With nearly 30 years of legal practice, Eric has extensive experience in complex torts and negligence defense. His areas of expertise include assault and battery, aviation, asbestos, premises liability, construction, labor law, motor vehicle (commercial and personal), wrongful death, dram shop, medical malpractice, and the child victims act. To date, he has taken 130 cases to verdict for the defense and plaintiff bars.

Mr. Fields is a native of Queens and a graduate of Archbishop Molloy High School and Fordham University, where he participated in football and track. After college, he was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps, serving primarily in the air wing. Following his military service, he attended Fordham Law School and then worked as a prosecutor in the Kings County District Attorney's Office and later in the New York State Attorney General Office, where he gained valuable legal experience.

Eric resides in Brooklyn, is married, and is the proud father of two sons.
