Biography

Eric M. Kurtz is a graduate of SUNY at Albany and received his law degree from the University of Buffalo. Admitted to the bar in 1986, he is also a member of the Insurance Section of the New York State Bar Association and served as an adjunct professor of law at the Ulster County Community College. Mr. Kurtz has served as counsel to the Town of Rochester and Town of Ulster, and a former Assistant District Attorney for Ulster County. Mr. Kurtz has also served on the Board of Directors of the Children's Home of Kingston and as its President. Presently he is counsel to the Ruby Fire District. Mr. Kurtz has over 25 years of trial experience in both State & Federal court, concentrating in Civil Litigation, Municipal Defense and in Insurance Defense.
