Eric Mauro

Eric Mauro is the kind of lawyer people call when they want to get their affairs in order and stop worrying about the “what ifs.” He served in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout, and that background shows up in his work now—he’s calm under pressure, he plans ahead, and he follows through. Eric focuses on estate planning, probate, and business law, helping clients put wills and other planning documents in place, guide families through probate after a loss, and support small business owners as they start, grow, and protect what they’ve built. He doesn’t bury people in legal jargon or rush them to sign paperwork; he takes time to talk things through, answer questions, and make sure the plan makes sense for their family and their finances. Eric earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Woman’s University in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a focus on Deaf Education, then completed Baylor Law School with a distinction in Estate Planning. He also earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. When he’s off the clock, he’s usually outside with his dogs, traveling with his wife, or working on his barbecue.
