Eric Schoppe is an associate in Greenberg Traurig’s Corporate Practice. Eric focuses his practice on corporate transactional work, including public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He routinely represents issuers and underwriters in public offerings and private placements, including Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings.

• Represented CenterPoint Energy and its subsidiaries in over $10 billion of securities offerings and over $5 billion of bank financing transactions.°

• Represented issuers and investment banks in over $3 billion of capital market offerings and transactions, including public offerings and private placements.°

• Represented Riot Platforms in its $92.5 million acquisition of Block Mining, a vertically integrated Bitcoin mining company.

• Represented CenterPoint Energy in its $157 million divestiture of Energy Systems Group, LLC, an energy services company, and its $2.1 billion divestiture of its Arkansas and Oklahoma natural gas utility businesses.°

• Represented Aeva, Inc., a manufacturer of LiDAR and perception systems, in its $1.7 billion de-SPAC business combination with InterPrivate Acquisition Corp.°
