Erica Christine Colon

Erica Colon is a valued attorney at The Perecman Firm, where she works tirelessly representing clients who have been seriously injured. Erica’s journey to the legal profession began during college, when a summer internship at a district attorney’s office sparked her interest in law. In law school, she gained valuable experience working at a personal injury firm, where she represented victims of medical malpractice and asbestos exposure. This experience deepened her commitment to advocating for injured individuals and their families.

Erica is known for her compassionate approach, striving to connect with each client on a personal level. She approaches cases with the care and attention as if they involved her own family, always ensuring clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Recognizing that most clients are navigating legal challenges for the first time, Erica prioritizes clear, patient, and thorough communication, which empowers clients to make informed decisions.

A graduate of Ithaca College (B.S. 2009) and Syracuse University College of Law (J.D. 2013), Erica is also OSHA-10 certified. She has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers (2016-2023) and is named on the Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” list (2021-2023). Her love for cooking, exercise, and music brings joy and balance to her life, and she shares these passions with her family. A certified yoga instructor and wellness advocate, Erica values a healthy lifestyle and is an active participant in local parent and community groups, always open to learning and giving back.
