Biography

Erick M. Salazar was born in Valencia, Venezuela. At a young age, his family immigrated to South Florida where he grew up before relocating to Central Florida for his studies.

As a first-generation immigrant, Mr. Salazar began his journey toward becoming a lawyer at an early age by helping his parents overcome language barriers and advocating on their behalf. This experience inspired him to pursue the legal profession and set him off on a mission to advocate for those who are unable to stand up for themselves.

Mr. Salazar earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and earned his law degree from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. In addition to holding leadership roles in various organizations during his tenure at Barry, Mr. Salazar was also an active member of the school's Nationally recognized Trial Team, competing in various competitions. In late 2018, he earned the privilege to represent Barry University in the Hon. E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition hosted by the FJA Young Lawyer’s section, where he and his team took first place, after going undefeated among 15 teams from 8 different law schools.

Today, Mr. Salazar uses his experience having worked for the insurance companies, and then litigating against them to formulate a winning strategy for your case. His experience has helped him develop the essential skills necessary to make sure his clients receive exceptional service both in and out of the courtroom.

The process after a car accident can be stressful and overwhelming, which is why Mr. Salazar prides himself on being readily accessible for his clients and fighting to achieve the best possible outcome for their cases.
