Born and raised in Florida, Ms. Southerland obtained her juris doctor from the University of Akron School of Law after graduating from Florida State University with a focus on International Affairs.

Since acquiring her law degree, Ms. Southerland has focused solely on family law, helping clients resolve disputes across a wide range of practice areas including divorce, alimony, paternity, child support and visitation, domestic violence, and post-dissolution modifications.
