Biography

Erin E. O’Connor is an associate in the firm’s casualty department where she focuses her practice primarily on representing insurance carriers in litigation, personal injury protection claims and fraud/special investigations. In addition to personal injury protection, Erin has experience defending litigation involving New York Labor Law, construction injury, premises liability, admiralty and maritime litigation, and general liability.

Prior to the joining the firm, Erin appeared regularly throughout New York State to defend claims and advise employers or their insurance carriers/third party administrators throughout all phases of complex workers’ compensation litigation. She also worked as an attorney at a law firm representing injured workers before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, the New York State & Local Retirement System, and the Social Security Administration. Prior to that, she served as an assistant district attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.

Erin received her J.D. from St. John University School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Fairfield University.
