Biography

Erin G. Jackson is a shareholder of Johnson Jackson LLC. For the past 17 years, she has defended employers before state and federal courts and agencies that regulate the employment relationship. Erin graduated cum laude from the University of Florida and obtained her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, where she served on the Law Review and the Mock Trial team. Since 2006, she has been board certified by The Florida Bar in Labor and Employment Law. She is AV-rated 5.0/5.0 by Martindale Hubbell, and has been recognized in several publications, including the 2015, 2016, and 2017 editions of Best Lawyers in America, for many years by Florida Trend as Legal Elite, and as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyer magazine. Erin is a frequent featured speaker for The Florida Bar on labor and employment issues. Erin assists employers in managing their employees, develops strategies for relations with labor organizations, handles business-related disputes involving employee theft of data/documents and non-competition agreement violations, and defends employers through trials and appeals when they are accused of violation of employment laws. Erin serves on the executive boards of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Trial and Litigation Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers. She is a member of the Finance and Governance Committees for the Glazer Children’s Museum, and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Tampa.Member, Mock Trial, 1998-2000.
