Biography

Linwood Gunn has a general litigation practice with an emphasis on employment law. Linwood has extensive experience in federal and state trial and appellate courts on a broad range of employment and civil rights matters, representing both employers and employees on issues such as race, gender, age and religious discrimination, First Amendment rights, non-compete covenants, wage and salary issues under federal and state law, and a variety of constitutional issues.

His practice in the employment law area includes advice and consultation on litigation prevention, drafting employment policies and procedures, and representation in agency investigations and hearings before state and local governments. He has also provided training and workshops to private and public employers, as well as numerous industry groups. Aside from matters in the employment area, Linwood handles a range of litigation and appeals including securities arbitration and litigation, general contract litigation, trade secrets, and probate matters.
