Biography

Eva Galeano is an attorney at the Tampa, Florida, office of Morgan & Morgan. She was born in Nicaragua and raised in a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana. She relocated to and has been a resident of the Tampa area since 2005. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the University of New Orleans in 1994. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2001.

Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Ms. Galeano was a paralegal for ten years and was employed by several large insurance defense law firms in the New Orleans area. It was during this time that she decided to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney. Shortly after graduating from law school, she moved to the Tampa area and accepted employment as an Assistant State Attorney in Hillsborough County, where she advocated for the rights of crime victims in various types of cases for the last 18 years. She is an experienced litigation attorney having tried both jury trials and non-jury trials.

Mrs. Galeano concentrates her practice on Personal Injury cases in Florida. She specializes in automobile accidents in the Morgan & Morgan pre-suit department.
