Evan C. Wilt

At Powers & Worshtil, P.C., Associate Evan Wilt assists with estate planning, probate administration, and estate litigation matters. Evan’s work is informed by a career path that blends legal training with real-world experience in communication and customer service. He earned his law degree from George Mason University, concentrating in Tax Law, and served on the George Mason Law Review. While in law school, Evan externed for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Austin, Texas, and worked with a Virginia estate planning firm, gaining practical insight into planning and administration issues. He completed his undergraduate studies at Geneva College, earning a B.A. in Communication and Business. Before pursuing law, Evan worked as a journalist in Washington, D.C., and later served as an operations director at a residential real estate firm, supporting buyers and sellers across the DMV. When he’s away from work, you’ll usually find him cooking or running after his small children.
