in his family to attend a four-year college, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Psychology from Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia. Evan
furthered his education by pursuing a doctoral degree in Social Psychology at
Howard University before his passion for law led him to Penn State Dickinson
Law School.
In law school, Evan demonstrated his commitment to legal
excellence by participating in the immigration law moot court team and
contributing to the addiction legal resource center. His legal journey included
a clerkship at the Department of Justice, Criminal Division, where he gained
valuable experience in drafting motions and supporting litigators in the
prosecution of organized crime.
Post-law school, Evan secured a prestigious clerkship
position in Howard County Circuit Court for the Honorable Judge Timothy
McCrone. Following this, he served as a family law attorney for the YWCA of
Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. In this role, Evan advocated for clients
across all aspects of family law, gaining extensive experience in protective
order hearings where he used his strong litigation skills to advocate for
domestic violence victims. Drawn to FLAG's commitment to serving clients
irrespective of financial means, Evan joined the firm in the fall of 2023 to
further his growth in family law.
A strong proponent of low bono and pro bono service, Evan
believes in providing a strong voice in the legal process for everyone.
