Biography

Evan Pappas is passionate about helping people that may have been injured in an accident; auto, trucking, motorcycle, medical negligence, police brutality, sex abuse and assault and others.

Evan has always shown tremendous dedication and empathy for his clients and the catastrophic issues they face. His rapid trajectory to partner is due to his hard work, excellent handling of cases and high praise from his clients. His leadership at the firm and his quick and enthusiastic handling of responsibilities have led him to be named a Partner in 2021. He handles complex cases including those heading to trial. He has experience in a wide range of personal injury cases including medical malpractice, sex abuse and harassment, auto and trucking cases.

Evan is a committed attorney who fights and succeeds for his clients. He recently handled a sex abuse case against a local Michigan company involving a young person and older man that resulted in a multi-million dollar settlement. It was a hard-fought case and was settled just a couple weeks before trial because Evan was so well prepared.

He attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and earned his BA in political science in 2008. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2011.

For the past 6 years, Evan has been selected to the Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in the area of personal injury; general Plaintiff.

Before joining Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys, Evan was an associate attorney at Fieger Law. Prior to that he practiced at a boutique personal injury law firm in Royal Oak, MI, where he began his career as Plaintiff’s attorney. Since passing the bar exam Evan has dedicated his career to working as a Plaintiff’s attorney, meaning he has only represented individuals or companies bringing lawsuits to enforce their rights of recovery.

He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan and Western District of Michigan. Evan has been admitted to courts and litigated cases in Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky.
