Biography

Evangelia Podaras advises clients on labor and employment matters in U.S. and multijurisdictional corporate transactions, including acquisition-related due diligence, risk assessment, and post-acquisition workforce integration.

Evangelia has worked on hundreds of transactions ranging from minority stake investments to multibillion-dollar acquisitions, helping clients navigate the employment aspects of these complex deals. She has also advised on employment issues in restructuring and bankruptcy matters, and regularly counsels private equity firms and their portfolio companies with employment matters during transactions and ongoing operations, including executive terminations, workplace issues and internal investigations, restrictive covenants, the WARN Act, and wage and hour law compliance. Evangelia also has experience counseling family offices and high-net-worth individuals on employment issues.
