Eve Diane Maestre

Eve Maestre is a 'Top 10 Under 40' Criminal Defense Attorney nationwide and 4 x winner of Avvo's "Client's Choice" awards based on her accomplished history of noteworthy dismissals and successful litigation across all San Diego, Orange County, and Riverside courts. Ms. Maestre handles all types of misdemeanor and felony matters in California, including post-conviction relief. Eve was recently named on the Super Lawyers "2025 San Diego Rising Stars" list, an honor reserved for only the top 2.5% of all San Diego lawyers. Before founding the Law Office of Eve Maestre, she practiced law at the prestigious Law Offices of Anna R. Yum - a former prosecutor who used her experiences to become a highly respected Criminal Defense attorney in San Diego. Prior to this, Eve managed the San Diego branch of The Law Offices of Michael Scafiddi under Mr. Scafiddi, a former police officer who has earned numerous legal awards as a Criminal Defense attorney and is the current President of the San Bernardino County Bar Association. Her experiences working with SoCal's foremost leaders in Criminal Law, in addition to her time with the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, have provided Eve with comprehensive knowledge of the most effective Criminal Defense strategies. Ms. Maestre graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2017. During law school, Ms. Maestre served as Board Member and Coach for her school’s Appellate Moot Court Team and competed on their national team. As an undergraduate, she attended Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with honors and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, with minors in Economics and Spanish.Ms. Maestre was born in Paris and speaks fluent French. When not practicing law, Eve is passionate about traveling, cooking and practicing yoga.
