Evelyn graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2017, where she was a member of the Trial Team and developed a strong foundation in litigation. During law school, she interned with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office as both a volunteer and Certified Legal Intern, gaining valuable courtroom experience. She also spent a semester studying abroad at La Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain. Prior to law school, Evelyn graduated cum laude from Florida International University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice.

Evelyn began her legal career as a criminal defense attorney at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she managed a high volume of cases and conducted both bench and jury trials.
