Biography

F. Steeves Hopson, III was born in Laredo, TX and grew up in San Antonio, TX with his mother and two sisters. Steeves attended Churchill High School. He then went on to study Public Relations and Business Foundations at The University of Texas at Austin. As a college senior, Steeves worked for Texas State Representative Richard Peña Raymond. He then attended The University of Texas School of Law to join the family profession.

Steeves spent a short time practicing employment law before becoming an Assistant District Attorney at the Webb-Zapata County District Attorney’s Office, where he honed his trial skills. During his time as a prosecutor, Steeves prosecuted a variety of crimes before eventually working in the Special Victims Unit, where he fought for victims of child and sexual abuse.

As a former prosecutor, Steeves has the courtroom and negotiation skills needed to successfully represent clients who have been injured. He is also fluent in Spanish. In his spare time, Steeves enjoys watching college football, attending concerts and exploring new places and cultures.

Steeves is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association and Hispanic Bar Association of Houston.
