Fabio Humar Jaramillo

My Name is Fabio Humar Jaramillo, Criminal Attorney. I graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and have completer several postgraduate courses, including LL.M. and Economics. This has allowed me to develop a practice as a Criminal Attorney specialized in White-Collar Crime.

I served as a prosecutor for more than 5 years, handling white-collar crimes, money laundering and copyright cases. I have worked in Colombia, and in the USA as a Columbian prosecutor invited by the US State Department. This experience provided me skills to work in multicultural and bilingual environments.

My job as a prosecutor allowed me to develop skills in criminal litigation. I have handled more that a thousand cases, mostly related to white-collar crime.

The most significant case was related with the defense in "Operation Splendor", where I obtained not guilty verdict for a Colombian citizen who was charged with embezzlement while in a Public Office.

Other significant cases were related an operation in which Colombia's Attorney General Office and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) worked together in order to capture and dismantle an organization. I managed to prove that two (2) clients, Colombian citizens, where completely innocents.
