Biography

Felipe Luis Mejia is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office. He specializes in construction and complex litigation representing design professionals, developers, general contractors, subcontractors and condominium associations. He is also experienced in cases involving bodily injury, premises liability, first party property and workers compensation. Mr. Mejia previously served as general counsel for condominium associations.

Mr. Mejia received his B.A. with high honors from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings. While at Hastings, he was Senior Articles Editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal, worked for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California and clerked for United States District Court Judge Charles Breyer. Prior to beginning law school, he lived in China and France. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Mandarin Chinese and French.
