Biography

Fernanda Urdapilleta is an Associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale West office. Her practice primarily focuses on first party property insurance defense.

Ms. Urdapilleta received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University in 2020, graduating summa cum laude, with a double major in Political Science and International Relations and a minor in Psychology.

In 2025, Ms. Urdapilleta obtained her Juris Doctor from the Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, she worked as a Law Clerk at a criminal defense firm, where she gained experience in criminal defense litigation. Additionally, she participated in FIU College of Law's Death Penalty Clinic during the summer of 2024, where she worked on matters involving capital defense and post-conviction proceedings.
