Biography

Ms. Lutfy began her career as a lawyer in the Manhattan maritime firm that defended Captain Hazelwood in the Exxon Valdez case.  She was involved in all aspects of the practice, including personal injury claims brought by seaman and longshoremen. She was in house counsel for State Farm defending those sued in all types of personal injury cases.  This allowed her to gain insight of insurance company tactics, which has been an invaluable asset to Lutfy and Lutfy, P.C. Admitted to practice New York State Bar, 1989 U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York Education Juris Doctor, Fordham University Law School, 1988 Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa), Hofstra University, 1984.
