Francis Cuddihee is a senior associate on R&H’s Litigation Team, focusing on civil business disputes. He brings a unique, pragmatic approach shaped by his transition from high-stakes family law to complex commercial litigation.

Before joining R&H, Francis represented entrepreneurs and professionals in domestic relations cases, gaining experience handling sensitive, high-conflict matters. He later expanded his practice to civil business litigation and served as outside general counsel, equipping him to anticipate and resolve disputes effectively.

Francis’s work centers on partnership disputes, breach of contract, real estate disputes, and construction-related matters.

• Construction Defect Claim - Secured a favorable settlement for a homeowner against a general contractor responsible for a defective garage build

• Drafted a Multimillion-Dollar Business Agreement - Negotiated and drafted a multimillion-dollar international technology and licensing agreement for a small Colorado-based energy firm

• Defended Fraudulent Transfer Claim - Successfully defended a client in a fraudulent transfer case, preventing a property transfer from being voided after the plaintiff failed to revive a 20-year-old child support judgment

• Protected a Gun Store’s Business License - Successfully prevented a Colorado gun range and firearms dealer from losing its license during a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF)
