Francis J. Klemensic is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. and the Managing Attorney of the Erie office . He concentrates his practice in the area of civil litigation, with a particular emphasis in medical malpractice defense. Mr. Klemensic has 30 years of experience successfully defending hospitals, physicians, dentists, podiatrists, rehabilitation facilities, therapists, and psychiatrists in both state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania.

Representative Matters: Successfully represented a psychiatrist in federal court in defense of a court ordered evaluation of an accused criminal, effectively establishing current legal principle in the application of witness immunity; Successfully defended a radiologist and hospital against medical malpractice for failing to diagnose a cervical spine fracture; Successfully defended a podiatrist against medical malpractice brought by a plaintiff who was found to be non-compliant; Obtained a defense verdict for an obstetrician against a claim of malpractice resulting from the labor and delivery of an infant suffering from brain damage; Successfully defended a surgeon against a retained sponge claim in a case involving an appendectomy performed on a minor; Defeated a claim of negligence in favor of two family physicians accused of failing to diagnose sinus cancer; Obtained a verdict in favor of a gynecologist who was sued for negligence for failing to diagnose and treat breast cancer
