Biography

Frank Talbott, Esq. is a Vermont Attorney, representing injured individuals primarily in Workers’ Compensation matters.   He has been involved in personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation for over 30 years. His practice is currently focused on representing injured individuals.    However, over the last 30 years as a Burlington and Shelburne area personal injury and workers’ compensation attorney, he has represented not only injured individuals and employees, but also employers and insurance companies in hundreds of cases involving workplace injuries and accidents. Frank Talbott was also an acting hearing officer (Administrative Law Judge) on a contract basis for the Department of Labor in workers’ compensation matters for six years, adjudicating disputed workers’ compensation proceedings. Within the arena of workers’ compensation, Talbott Law Office, PLC currently focuses attention on representing injured workers at all levels before the Vermont Department of Labor, the Vermont Superior Courts and the Vermont Supreme Court.   Mr. Talbott is also qualified to act as a mediator in disputed workers’ compensation claims and is on the approved Mediator’s List of the Vermont Department of Labor.   Mr. Talbott represents individuals from all over the State of Vermont, though most of his clients reside in Franklin, Chittenden and Addison Counties. Mr. Talbott has obtained specific training through Pepperdine University in the science and art of mediation. Located in Shelburne, Vermont with convenient access from all towns in Chittenden County and surrounding areas, including the Burlington Area, Mr. Talbott represents injured individuals and workers’ throughout the State of Vermont. Talbott Law Office regularly associates with other law firms in handling cases, so as to broaden the expertise brought to particular cases and maximize representation of his client.
