Biography

Frank concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, creditors’ rights and commercial litigation. He routinely assists various constituencies, including – Chapter 7 and 11 debtors, Chapter 7 and 11 trustees, creditors’ and equity security holders’ committees, commercial landlords, equipment lessors, private lenders and asset purchasers. Frank’s bankruptcy litigation experience includes – the prosecution and defense of preference, fraudulent transfer (including Ponzi “clawback” suits), equitable subordination, non-dischargeability, involuntary bankruptcy, substantive consolidation, “bad faith” filings, plan confirmation and automatic stay disputes. Frank also has substantial experience in federal appellate practice, and the enforcement of rights under domestic and foreign commercial contracts and leases, licenses and intellectual property agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Frank worked as a member of Maschmeyer Karalis, P.C., specializing in commercial bankruptcy reorganizations. Before this bankruptcy work, Frank served as a Law Clerk from 1998 to 2000 for the Honorable David A. Scholl of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In 1996, Frank began working as a bankruptcy/consumer attorney for Legal Services of New Jersey.
