Biography

Fred Fromhold is a shareholder of Fromhold Adams & Jun. His practice focuses on land use and real estate law. For more than 30 years, he has represented residential and commercial builders and developers, public and private educational institutions, religious institutions, hospitals, banks, auto dealerships, utilities, shopping centers, nonprofit organizations, and other owners and users of land in the acquisition, development, and use of their properties.

He counsels clients with respect to zoning, land development, subdivision and related matters, regularly representing them before municipal zoning hearing boards, governing bodies, planning commissions, and other advisory boards in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties. He successfully has argued numerous appeals in common pleas and appellate courts in Pennsylvania. He has appeared before boards of view and courts in eminent domain proceedings and has litigated title insurance, boundary dispute, and other real estate matters.

Fred received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Scranton (1970) and a Juris Doctor from the Villanova University School of Law (1973), where he served as an editor of the Law Review. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court. On several occasions he has been selected for Pennsylvania 'Super Lawyers' - Philadelphia Magazine - category - Land Use/Zoning.
