Frederick Schenk

Fred Schenk is a distinguished partner at The Schenk Law Firm, boasting more than 46 years of experience as a plaintiff trial lawyer. Renowned for securing multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in asbestos litigation, wrongful death, products liability and automobile collision cases, Fred’s legal prowess has been consistently recognized by Best Lawyers, Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers and Super Lawyers. His specialization spans asbestos, mesothelioma, catastrophic injuries, and new frontiers like social media addiction and underage gambling addiction litigation. Notably, Fred authored the LexisNexis California Automotive Litigation Handbook and achieved the largest asbestos punitive damages verdict in San Diego history. In 2023, Fred was appointed to the plaintiffs’ steering committee in a high-stakes lawsuit against prominent social media companies. Beyond the courtroom, he twice served as president of the 22nd District Agricultural Association’s Board of Directors.
