Biography

Mr. Driver focuses on corporate (including mergers and acquisitions), business, contracts, venture capital and securities law. He represents clients in business acquisitions, dispositions and mergers, as well as providing ongoing counseling regarding business formation, corporate governance, contract law and ancillary legal issues. He also counsels clients in obtaining capital through private placements, venture capital investments and other financing transactions.

In 2014 Mr. Driver was awarded the title of Jacksonville Lawyer of the Year by the Financial News and Daily Record. He was also selected for the Best Lawyers in America since 2015 in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital. Additionally, he was selected as Best Lawyers' Jacksonville Corporate Lawyer of the Year in 2015 and Best Lawyer's Jacksonville Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer of the Year in 2016. Mr. Driver has been named to the Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame, listed in Super Lawyer and recognized as one of Jacksonville’s Top Lawyers. He is a trustee with the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce; Leadership Jacksonville, Class of 2007; President, Jacksonville Bar Association, 2012-2013; and past President and Treasurer, Young Lawyers Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association. He has served on boards for the Community Rehabilitation Center, Tree Hill Nature Center and Young Enthusiasts in Support of the Symphony, as well as other civic not-for-profit agencies.
