Gabriela K. Balmaseda joined Dughi, Hewit & Domalewski in December 2024 and is a member of the firm's civil litigation and trial group. She represents parties in a broad range of civil litigation, with a focus on the defense of professional liability and personal injury litigation.

Ms. Balmaseda graduated from Fordham University in 2013. Following her graduation from Fordham University, she attended Brooklyn Law School on a merit scholarship. While in law school, Ms. Balmaseda was an extern in the Office of the New York State Attorney General Antitrust Bureau, as well as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jose L. Linares, U.S.D.J.

Ms. Balmaseda previously worked as a trial attorney for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration where she handled regulatory and administrative law matters. Prior to working for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Ms. Balmaseda was an associate at a defense firm in New York City where she represented trucking and insurance companies in civil litigation matters.
