Gabriella M. Verdone

Prior to joining MCB, Gabriella worked in the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of the General Counsel, serving within the Office of Aviation Con-sumer Protection. There, she investigated matters ranging from flight sched-uling and baggage liability to civil rights and disability issues, and managed resulting enforcement cases. She also conducted legal research; analyzed intri-cate regulatory matters; assisted with legislative rulemaking for aviation con-sumer protection and civil rights regulations; and drafted negotiation agree-ments between the federal government and private airlines.

Earlier in her career, Gabriella served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office -Special Victims Unit. Responsible for a workload which exceeded 100 cases, she conducted legal research; drafted pre-trial motions; interviewed witnesses; negotiated dispositions with oppos-ing counsel; and litigated complex legal issues. Previous to this position, she served in roles as a student attorney and legal intern, garnering essential re-search, draftsmanship, and advocacy experience.

Gabriella received her B.A. from Fairfield University in 2018, making Dean’s List and Dean’s List with Distinction. She furthered her education at Syracuse University, where she obtained both a Master of Public Administration degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and a J.D. from the university’s College of Law in 2022.During law school, Gabriella excelled in ad-vocacy, receiving the Order of the Barristers award and earning membership in the Travis Lewin Advocacy Honor Society (Moot Court): Trial Division. She is admitted to practice in New York.
