Biography

I am admitted to practice law both in New Jersey and New York states and practice exclusively in the area of Divorce and Family Law. Issues pertaining to my field involve custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, dissolution of civil unions and domestic partnerships, domestic violence, grandparent visitation, international child abduction, pre-nuptial agreements and more. I received my Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Rutgers University in 1998 with majors in Administration of Justice, Psychology and Hebraic Studies. I received my Juris Doctorate from Hofstra School of Law in 2003. While at Hofstra School of Law I authored the article “The Hague Convention on International Child Abduction and the Grave Risk of Harm Exception: Recent Decisions and Their Implications on Children from Nations in Political Turmoil.” Family Court Review, Volume 41, No. 4, October 2003, 580-596. My work in the area of International Custody Law and on Hague Convention cases was honored by the receipt of the Award of Merit from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in 2004. I am also the Co-author of “In The Interest of Children of Same Sex Couples,” Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Volume 19, 2005, Number 2. Prior to opening my own law firm, I was an associate at another large and prominent firm in Bergen County. I am known for my zealous advocacy and my superior court skills. Most importantly, however, I approach my profession with empathy for my clients and have been told time and time again that I have aided clients through a very difficult process.
