Garrett Alder Blackburn

Garrett Blackburn is a lifelong Central Ohioan who really cares about making Columbus a better place. He graduated from Capital University Law School in 2022 and joined the team at Malek & Malek in early 2024. What makes Garrett such an asset is his background, he used to work for big insurance companies and credit institutions. That experience gives him an insider’s view of how those big companies operate, which he now uses to fight for the wrongfully injured. He knows their tactics and isn’t afraid to push back. Even though he’s only been with the firm since April 2024, he’s already secured over $500,000 in settlements for his clients. He’s tough when dealing with insurance adjusters but incredibly empathetic with the families he represents. When he’s not in the office, Garrett lives in Hilliard with his wife and their one-year-old daughter. You can usually find him on the golf course with friends or cheering on the Buckeyes and his favorite Premier League soccer teams. He’s a dedicated advocate who truly understands both sides of the legal battle.
