Biography

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Gary Patton graduated from Winnetonka High School in 1973. He graduated from William Jewell College in 1977 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law in 1980 and was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1980.

Mr. Patton is rated an AV lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, meaning he has been recognized by other attorneys as having the highest legal ability while adhering to the highest ethical standards. Mr. Patton has been recognized by the Missouri Supreme Court for 10 years of service as a Disciplinary Hearing Officer.

Mr. Patton practices primarily in the areas of Adoptions, Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Probate, Probate & Trust Litigation, Estate Planning and Business Law.

Mr. Patton is married to Andrea Patton, and they have two sons, Zane and Brock, and four granddaughters. Mr. Patton is an avid golfer and a member of Staley Farms Golf Club. He also enjoys duck and turkey hunting.

In 2008 he was inducted into the Winnetonka High School Hall of Fame. In 2016 he was inducted into the William Jewell College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Mr. Patton is a member of the Clay County Bar, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri Bar.
