Genesis Maldonado

Genesis represents hospitals, physicians, municipalities, and other healthcare providers in litigating complex claims in both New York state courts and federal courts, in the areas of medical liability, civil rights, general negligence, and general liability. She is involved in all stages of pre-trial litigation, including fact investigation, case development, legal research, motion practice, court appearances, and suit evaluations.

Prior to joining the firm, Genesis was a judicial law clerk for a United States District Court Judge in the Eastern District of New York. She is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association, Federal Bar Association and New York County Lawyer’s Association. In law school she was awarded the National Association of Women Lawyers Award at graduation. Genesis is a law clerk advisor for the Federal Bar Association’s judicial intern academy.

Genesis was the Co Editor in Chief of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter in law school and on Moot Court.

She is a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honors Society.
