Biography

The Swartz Fogy Law Group has been representing people who have been injured and killed due to the wrongful acts of others for the past 23 years. I worked as deputy district attorney in Los Angeles and Sacramento counties for the first 11 years of my career. Since 1997 I have been in private practice representing injured people. I have never represented, and never will represent, an insurance company. Over the years I have tried over 130 criminal and civil trials, including 23 murder trials. I am AV rated by Martindale Hubble and 10.00 by Avvo.com.

Noteworthy Decision

Responsible for Hugo Bucio v. County of Merced, 2015 Cal. Wrk. Comp. P.D. LEXIS 123 a Top Noteworthy Panel Decision. Holding entitles injured workers to receive Temporary Disability for period (of TD) following self-procured medical treatment (surgery).
