Georgia H. Malik is a civil litigator based in the firm’s Raleigh office, where she maintains a broad and dynamic practice. Georgia represents clients across a wide spectrum of complex civil matters, including personal injury, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, professional liability, construction disputes, and business litigation. Her practice also includes defending private employers in mass tort and product liability actions. Georgia has appeared in both state and federal courts, advocating for clients ranging from individuals and small businesses to national corporations. Her litigation experience spans high-stakes trucking cases, multi-party construction claims, and professional malpractice defense. She is known for her strategic approach to case management and her ability to navigate nuanced legal issues with clarity and precision.
In addition to her litigation work, Georgia is actively involved in firm leadership as a member of the associates’ committee and contributes to the legal community by volunteering with the North Carolina State Bar’s candidate interview process. Georgia earned her J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review and interned with former Chief Justice Cheri Beasley at the North Carolina Supreme Court. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from North Carolina State University. Outside of the office, Georgia enjoys exploring new destinations and cuisines, reflecting her curiosity and appreciation for diverse perspectives.
