Biography

Attorney Gerald (Jerry) Gillock is the founder of Gillock & Coggeshall, a Las Vegas-based law firm. With over 50 years of legal experience, Jerry focuses on medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury claims, and insurance bad faith cases. Throughout his career, he has successfully represented clients who have suffered due to negligence or misconduct, participating in over 300 jury trials. Known for his compassionate and client-centered approach, Jerry is committed to helping individuals navigate challenging situations while securing financial compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages. Jerry’s professional achievements include an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and being named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2003 by the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. He graduated from California State University at Long Beach in 1966 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1970. Jerry is admitted to practice in all Nevada state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Jerry has held leadership roles in the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, including serving as President and Vice President, and remains an active member of various legal organizations.
