Biography

Giannis Dimas specializes in the areas of Banking & Capital Markets, Corporate & Commercial and Insolvency & Restructuring. He has extensive experience in providing consultation and handling all aspects of capital markets, including corporate governance and regulatory matters. He regularly advises listed companies in compliance matters, such as market abuse, market manipulation and disclosure issues. Giannis expertise also covers a wide variety of debt and equity transactions, including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), secondary offerings, private placements and tender offers. He advises corporate clients in the negotiation and implementation of restructuring agreements and has also considerable experience in privatizations, PPP projects and concession contracts.

Giannis is a member of the Teaching Staff at the National Centre of Public Administration and a Scientific Assistant to the Greek Parliament. He has published a series of articles on his areas of expertise and he is the author of the book “Full and Valid Information: The Secret of Success in the Stock Exchange”, published by Antonis N. Sakkoulas in 2003.
