Gilio Gherardini

Gil has been practicing law since 1990 and brings unique expertise to the firm. As a former defendant’s attorney, Gil is familiar with the opposition’s perspective. Gil is also a specialist in Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) railroad law. He has helped many railroad workers win compensation for their injuries.

Why are you a personal injury attorney?

When I get a fair recovery for a client, I honestly feel I have accomplished something significant. When clients tell me I did a good job for them, I am satisfied.

Whom do you serve?

I serve the everyday person on the street; it’s your neighbor, your mom or dad that we serve here. With recent changes in workers’ compensation and tort law in Missouri, winning a case has become much harder. Additionally, the value of awards has been arbitrarily capped with no regard to the severity of the injury. What advice do you give clients most often?

Get the treatment that you need, and get it now. Going on the record early with your pain and injuries is always in the best interest of your case. In cases involving a railroad, always get advice from an attorney who specializes in FELA cases, and be sure to do it before the railroad company holds any type of hearings.
