Biography

Mr. Tagliamonte practices in the firm’s litigation department, where he focuses on a broad range of matters including commercial litigation, professional liability, and criminal defense. Prior to joining Conn Kavanaugh Rosenthal Peisch and Ford, Mr. Tagliamonte defended attorney malpractice cases and insurance coverage cases in both state and federal court, and represented individuals facing criminal charges and those under investigation by both state and federal law enforcement agencies. Before entering private practice, Mr. Tagliamonte was an assistant district attorney for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in both Berkshire and Suffolk counties, where he tried more than a dozen cases to verdict before a jury and nearly twice that number before a single judge. Additionally, Mr. Tagliamonte has authored successful appellate briefs both at the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
