Graham P. Wiemer

Graham Wiemer helps Wisconsin clients navigate family law matters with a practical approach and a focus on what matters most, protecting children, stability, and a workable path forward. He represents men and women in divorce, paternity cases, child custody and visitation disputes, custody jurisdiction issues, support matters, property division, and domestic violence concerns. Graham works with both parents and grandparents and is frequently appointed as a Guardian ad Litem to advocate for the best interests of minor children. He is also a trained and experienced mediator, helping parents and couples resolve child-related and financial issues privately and, when possible, without court involvement. Graham is active in collaborative divorce and brings that mindset into many of his cases. He is a member of the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin and serves on the CFLCW Board of Directors. Having seen firsthand how litigation can affect families, he believes collaborative practice can reduce conflict and soften the impact of legal proceedings on children. His Guardian ad Litem experience also helps him guide parents toward solutions that reflect a child’s perspective and the realities of a changing household. Graham earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his B.A. in political science and philosophy, with an emphasis on human rights, from the University of Dayton.
