Grant A. Carringer

Grant A. Carringer is an associate at Lewis Thomason’s Knoxville office with a primary focus on transportation law, healthcare liability defense, insurance defense, and general civil litigation. Mr. Carringer’s path to the law was paved with diverse experiences, including several years in the restaurant and hospitality sector, along with a valuable role as a paralegal at Lewis Thomason. During his time in law school, Mr. Carringer clerked with Lewis Thomason throughout the school year and secured an internship with the firm’s esteemed summer associate program. His commitment and dedication culminated in Mr. Carringer graduating from law school with a concentration in advocacy and dispute resolution.

A proud native of East Tennessee, Mr. Carringer is deeply connected to his community and actively contributes as a volunteer with the Blount County Youth Court program. This program serves as an intervention diversion program for first-time juvenile offenders, reflecting Mr. Carringer’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond the courtroom.

Outside of his legal pursuits, Mr. Carringer cherishes quality time spent with his family. Whether supporting his son at sporting events or enjoying nature walks with his wife, he finds joy in the simple pleasures of life.
