Grant A. Winter

Grant Winter serves as the Managing Attorney of Mastagni Holstedt’s Civil Litigation Department, focusing on personal injury, civil rights, employment, labor law, and appellate practice. Experienced as a PORAC Legal Defense Fund panel attorney, Grant is admitted to all U.S. District Courts in California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He primarily defends law enforcement officers against civil rights claims in their individual capacities. As a POST certified instructor, Grant has conducted specific training, particularly concerning 42 U.S. Code § 1983 claims. Prior to his current position, he navigated a wide spectrum of civil litigation, including employment disputes, contract issues, real estate matters, and personal injury cases, successfully representing both plaintiffs and defendants. His broad skill set ensures robust advocacy across various legal challenges.
