Biography

Born in Cedar City, Utah, 1964. Admitted to Nevada bar in 1991 and to Utah bar in 1992. Licensed to practice in the States of Nevada and Utah (all courts), in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and in the United States Federal Court for the District of Arizona. Received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Utah State College in 1988 and Juris Doctor from the University of Utah School of Law in 1991, where he served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Contemporary Law and the Journal of Energy Law and Policy. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Utah State Bar, the Clark County Bar Association and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. Arbitrator, court-annexed arbitration program for the Eighth Judicial District Court.

Mr. Miles has extensive trial and litigation experience before state and federal courts and state administrative tribunals, and has distinguished himself as a successful litigation attorney in the States of Nevada and Utah. During the course of his career, Mr. Miles has had the opportunity to advise and represent clients in a wide variety of litigation-related matters from pre-litigation through trial. Further, he advises corporate clients in employment, transactional and other business-related issues. The types of business and litigation matters he guides clients through include business disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, breach of contract, product liability, wrongful death, real estate, employment disputes, insurance bad faith, trademark issues, aviation law, domestic law, bankruptcy and various other matters. Mr. Miles is an accomplished attorney who is ready to assist you in your individual or business needs.
