Honors and Awards: Former Assistant Federal Public Defender, Eastern District of Texas, 1993-2006; National Assistant Federal Public Defender of the Year, 2001. Greg has been fighting for the rights of the accused since 1993, spending the first 13 years of his practice as an assistant federal defender. He has handled over 1000 federal cases during his career. In 2001, he was named Outstanding Assistant Federal Defender chosen nationwide based on a not guilty verdict received in an arson case where the accused was facing up to life in prison.
