Biography

Gregory H. Cooper is a member of the firm’s Corporate group, with much of his practice revolving around the growing group of publicly-traded issuers organized in Nevada, including handling corporate governance issues and a wide variety of transactions, such as securities offerings and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets and bank financing transactions. Prior to joining the Las Vegas GT office, Greg served as Vice President of Legal Affairs for Ameristar Casinos, Inc. until its acquisition by Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. There, he handled a broad variety of corporate and transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, SEC reporting and disclosure, business development initiatives, securities offerings, the secured credit facility, joint ventures, construction of gaming resort properties, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, antitrust compliances, contract negotiations, and process management.
