Mr. Carper has been actively involved in the local community since moving to the Monterey Peninsula in 1997. He has served on the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea Historic Resources Board since 2010 and currently serves as Vice Chair. Mr. Carper has also served as Director of Youth Ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Monterey since 2010 and has volunteered with numerous organizations in the community, including The Salvation Army, I-HELP, Ag Against Hunger, and Save Our Shores.
