Biography

Raised in Buffalo, New York, Ms. Morris received her Bachelor’s from Villanova University in Philadelphia, and graduated from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta.

Throughout her law school career, Ms. Morris focused her studies on criminal law. She interned with both criminal defense attorneys and prosecution offices, and gained courtroom experience before graduating under Georgia’s Third Year Practice Act.

After passing the bar, Ms. Morris became an Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County, located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. There, she quickly worked her way up through the office, starting out prosecuting minor felonies and ultimately, trying sex crimes and special victims cases. She has extensive trial experience, and regularly assisted on murder and gang trials, in addition to her assigned cases. She is excited to take the skills and experiences she gained on the prosecution side to her new role in criminal defense, and to provide her clients with thorough and successful representation.
