Biography

Gunjan Persaud joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly LLP as a Law Clerk in 2020 and was admitted to the Bar later that year.

Ms. Persaud obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2016 with a major in Law and Society. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2019.

During law school, Ms. Persaud held internships in various areas including environmental litigation, in-house transactional and contractual matters, compliance issues, employment law, and responding to Freedom of Information Law documents requests.

While in law school, Ms. Persaud was also an editor and writer on the school newspaper, Hearsay. She also became a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.

Outside of legal practice, Ms. Persaud enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and reading and writing poetry.
